Hair Tools: The Body Shop Rainforest Kit

In the spirit of green, here’s one of my favorite hair tools: body shop comb wide toothed

This detangling comb came in my kit from The Body Shop. I’m a little picky about what I use on my hair, but this comb doesn’t snag my curls and it works to detangle them gently. It’s actually the only thing I ended up liking in the hair kit!

That’s the Rainforest Moisture Hair Care Kit and it comes with the Rainforest Moisture Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hair Butter. The shampoo and conditioner are 2 oz each and the hair butter is 1.65 oz, according to their website. The Body Shop says this kit will help your hair be “soft, glossy and tangle-free”. These products weren’t moisturizing enough for my hair, but I imagine those with straight/fine/oily hair will enjoy this!

Last time I looked, it was only $5 for the kit :)

    Great review. My hair sometimes needs a good deep conditioning but in general my hair is quite limp and fine so it is easily weighed down if I overdo the moisturizing :S I haven’t used any Body Shop hair products in a long time. I actually do not use a comb to detangle my hair – I always run a hair serum (right now I am finishing off my Biosilk Therapy which is okay, I will be switching back to my Hana Shine Shield when I’m done Biosilk) through my damp hair with my fingers and that does all the detangling for me. I’m glad the comb worked for you!

      you’re so lucky to be able to just finger detangle! haha i probably could, too, but my hair wouldn’t look as good (booo). i still need to check out that Hana Shine Shield!
