Winter NOTD: Platinum and Glittery Blue

I have no problem with drugstore nail polishes and I’ll say it a million times: Revlon nail polish is great!! Here is a nail of the day (NOTD) that I did with a glittery blue polish by Revlon and a platinum shade by Love My Nails (another drugstore brand).

notd revlon I just brushed the glitter from the tip down almost halfway…on top of two coats of the silvery white polish. I used the Love My Nails base/top coat polish, too. I’ve noticed that my beloved Seche Vite top coat seems to have chemicals that aren’t included in most brands, so I’m refraining from using it right now. I might try a top coat by CND…

The next notd … hmm …

Wonder what my next NOTD will be. I polish my nails every week and right now I have a tri-color design inspired by spring :) Maybe I will post that next. Also, I am really excited to try the Maybelline Color Show polishes, which I’ll post about on the Maybelline section of my makeup blog!

 What top coat do you recommend I try next? Have you tried the Color Show polishes?
